About

This website acts as a portal for Joe Rogan to other services, private and public. It is a development and testing ground for anything Joe Rogan imagines, therefore all things here should be taken ‘as is’.

Who is Joe Rogan?

The greatest person ever, that’s who! No, but in all seriousness…

In 2017 Joe retired from the Canadian Armed Forces after 11 years of service. For a period of approximately 5 year’s Joe was a member of the 3rd Battalion, Princess Patricia’s Light Infantry in Edmonton and participated in exercises and operations, foreign and domestic. In 2009-10, Joe was deployed to Afghanistan as a member of a police mentor team.

Joe left his roles in the 3PPCLI – Parachute Company after being selected for an occupational transfer in 2011. As a Geomatics Technician, Joe was posted to Ottawa where he was able to combine his mostly self-taught background in programming and web development with his new GIS training. Upon release from the CAF, Joe continues to strive for excellence in the GIS field and intends to relocate home to British Columbia in the summer of 2018.

Joe lists his greatest accomplishment as bicycling across Canada in 2004 in 79 days and kayaking down the Mississippi River - source to sea - in 2018 in 64 days. In his spare time, Joe continues to have a passion for bicycling, kayaking, woodworking, fishing, mapping/GIS, programming, and web development.
